You bring up an interesting point, and one that seems to confuse a lot of people. All of the ringtones on the iphone are indeed stereo. Even though the iphone only has one speaker on the bottom, it is capable of pushing ringtones out through headphones and also through the dock connector. &lt;br&gt;The reason I modified this one was because on the phone I had at the time did have two speakers on it and I could only hear the tone coming out of one of them.
